Elastic wire is a brand-new type of wire with stretchable/resilient properties.

The principle involves ordinary wires being fixed in a spiral winding or S-shaped state through special processes/structures, combined with an elastomeric part, to endow the wires with stretchable/resilient properties. The conductors can be common copper wires, as well as alloy wires, conductive fibers, etc.

Currently, there are several types of products that are mature and in mass production on the market:

Round elastic wire series products

Single-core or multi-core wires of various specifications are fixed on the outer side of the elastic core by braiding and winding, giving the product tensile/resilient properties. The product has been tested, and its axial tensile resilience life test has reached more than 5 million cycles. The bending test is 20-100 times that of wires of the same specification, with a maximum of up to 5 million cycles.

The product has been successfully applied to smart clothing, addressing the lifespan of smart clothing while also enhancing its wearing comfort and ensuring its appearance.

In addition, this series of products can also be applied to the connecting wires of robot/robotic arm moving parts, effectively simplifying the structure of these parts and reducing costs.

Flexible FPC Series Products

The FPC conductor part is designed in an S-shape and then compounded with elastic materials. While retaining all the properties of FPC, the product also achieves stretchable/recoverable performance; at the same time, its special compounding process greatly enhances the product's bending resistance. The product has been successfully applied to various types of smart clothing products.

S-type elastic wire series products

Single-core or multi-core wires are braided at one time using the production process of elastic braiding, which endows the product with stretchable/resilient properties.

The product has been successfully applied to various types of smart clothing products.

Longyan Karon Technology Co., Ltd. possesses patents and mass production capabilities for the above three major categories of flexible conductors. With the goal of "flexible solutions for optical/electrical transmission", the company has launched a series of flexible conductor products and flexible optical fiber (non-breakable optical fiber) products on the market after years of research and development, providing various effective products and solutions for "flexible optical/electrical transmission".
